Frog on a Swing Amigurumi pattern

Supplies you will need to crochet a frog on a swing
- #5 bulky yarn, I’m using Premier Parfait Pom Pom Chunky yarn in color
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
- stitch markers
- yarn needle
- stuffing I use polyfil
- scissors

Notes
-BO (bobble stitch): yo, insert hook into stitch, yo pull through stitch, yo pull through 2 loops. Do this 3 times for a 3BO and 4 times for a 4BO.
-In round 10 the 3BO are the feet. Depending on your tension you may need to move the BO forward or backward to line up with the eyes.
-If you choose to use a different yarn you may need a larger or smaller hook. It may turn out differently than intended.
-I use the yarn over method for my crochet stitches. If you do yarn under your stitches may look slightly different.
-when changing color after you make the bobble, change color to complete the bobble stitch.
-stitch count totals at the end of each round.
Frog Instructions
Round 1: 6sc in mr(I use ch2 method)
Round 2: 6inc. 12sc
Round 3: 1sc, inc, 4BO, inc, 1sc, inc, 4BO, inc, 1sc, inc, 1sc, inc. 18sc
Round 4: *2sc, inc* 6 times. 24sc
Round 5-9: 24sc PLACE EYES IN FRONT OF BO
Round 10: 8sc, 3BO, 4sc, 3BO, 10sc. 24sc
Round 11: *2sc, dec* 6 times. 18sc STUFF BODY
Round 12: 9dec. 9sc
Cut yarn and cinch up hole.
Swing Instructions
1: ch10, in 3rd ch from hook dc, 7dc in remaining ch. 8dc
2: ch2 turn, 8dc. 8dc
3: ch2 turn, 8dc. ch2 sl st into top of ch from previous row. Fasten off.
Attach yarn to center of the side of the rectangle and ch25. Fasten off. Leave a long tail to tie to the second strap.
Repeat for other side of the rectangle. Tie the ends together in a knot. I either add a little hot glue to the ends to secure the chenille yarn from fraying.
